River on Mars?

What is this? Is this a river on Mars?

This snapshot was found on the THEMIS Day IR 100m Global Mosaic at coordinates LAT -28.081 LNG 319.395 E. It might be a some kind of Lava-flow, as you can see at other places, but I don't know. It seems much like a river to me. If anyone has an explanation, please react!

UPDATE: Well, I posted this picture on the Asterisk-forum and people there indeed agreed it was a river. So I take it to be so. I sent this picture as a suggestion to Astronomy Picture of the Day.
